From the Gitschberg to Meransen: just one natural sled run

Sledding is great family fun – and has been a highly popular sport in South Tyrol for many years. As soon as it snows, the locals trudge up the hill with their sleds in tow. Following a short stopover at the Landlord's Inn, they’ll start the descent down the winding sled run into the valley.

 

The Brimi-Winter-Run sled run on the Gitschberg goes from the cableway mountain station past the middle station down to the center of Meransen. Slightly under 7-km long, it is one of the longest sled runs in South Tyrol. Sleds are available for rent at the Pichlerhof or down at the cableway valley station in Meransen.
